August 11, 2020 – Commissioners approve ballot language for November 3 City Charter Question; Adoption of Element XIII – Historical & Archeological Preservation for Comprehensive Plan; Coastal Woods replat; consultant hired to develop a citywide plan for 37 parks; consultant to be hired to propose landscaping plan for sections of US-1 and SR44.
June 30, 2020 Workshop – Final decisions on Revised City Charter language; 1st draft of city FY 2020-2021 budget; acceptance of FEMA reimbursement to repair public property damaged by hurricane Michael; standards for review of leases for city-owned property
June 23, 2020 –Purchase of 10 Acres in Turnbull Creek Watershed; final plat for Copper Creek; replat of Coastal Woods; establishment of local truck route for Flagler Ave.; costs up to replace bridges at 5th street and Barracuda Blvd
June 9, 2020 – Regular meeting – Commissioners lift remaining COVID 19 restrictions; approve closing of Canal Street once a week through July to celebrate local businesses; increase fines for illegally parked boat trailers
January 14, 2020 – City contemplating purchase of additional Turnbull Creek properties; Splash Pad at Babe James Center to be constructed by summer; 5th annual Arts Festival approved for late February
